Hear we have a first pressing of The Beatles very first LP recorded at Abby road studio on 11th of Febuary 1963. This is the Black and Gold Stereo label pressing PCS3042 with the publishing credits for"Dick James Music Co"(only 600 to 800 of these LPs were ever pressed) on side1, tracks 1 and 2.and side 2 tracks 4 and 6 which where incorrect but always added value to the early pressings, later pressings had Northern Songs Ltd next to these tracks. The Matrix marks on side 1 are YEX94-1 and 1G and are in the run off area of the record and (YEX94) is on the left side of the label The Matrix marks on side 2 are YEX95-1 and 1R and are in the run off area of the record and (YEX95) is on the left side of the label Also the tax code letters MXT are around the spindle hole on side 2 I have however noticed a Please Please Me LP which sold on eBay in August of this year for £8,100.00!!!( item No 131226803683) check it out ! Where the seller added to his description that most copy's have only two tax code letters ZT but his as mine has the three? Possibly indicating a very early pressing. It comes with the original laminated outer sleeve made by Ernest J Day Ltd with photo credits for Angus Mcbean in the bottom right hand corner It also comes with thr polythene-lined"use emitex"die cut inner sleeve in near perfect condition. Both labels are in extremely good condition with no spindle marks at all. The condition of this LP is VG+, the LP has been visually inspected by Tracks Auctions Ltd, of Chorrley,Lancashire, the top Beatles Memreabila Expert in England and was rated VG+ with a offer to include it in there forthcoming London Auction with a reserve of at least £3.000 with a expectation of a extremely higher sale price( see photo of Tracks letter),hence the high reserve price, I have had the LP cleaned professionally cleaned and it plays perfectly and lies perfectly flat with no warping whatsoever and let's be honest I don't think this LP will be bought to be played very often!, I think I have played it only about three or four times in the past twenty years. I will accept payment by PayPal but I prefer cash and collection by winning bidder which gives the winning bidder the opportunity to hear and visually inspect the record themselves I can be contacted 01912345800 or 07850442883 to give any further information or arrange an appointment to hear and inspect the record if required I must inform all bidders that I must reserve the right to withdraw this LP at any time as it is advertised on other auction sites I will post worldwide with suitable insurance included in the price of postage and packing Thanks for looking and good luck
