COMUS "FIRST UTTERANCE" LP + INSERT ULTRA RARE 1971 1st UK PRESSING ON THE ORANGE DAWN LABEL DNLS 3019 DNLS 3019 A-3*T & DNLS 3019 B-3*T 1st Pressing Matrix Numbers 1/C & 1/E Earliest Stampers Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse 1st pressing unlaminated gatefold cover. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Clear readable spine. Like most of these covers, this one has a small sticker scuff on the front and minor wear/grubbiness here and there. Outside rates as VG+ and inside rates as Excellent+. Rates as Excellent overall - please see the photos which you should be able to magnify so that you can get a clear view of the overall condition. Lyric Insert: Mint. Original double-sided insert. Fab condition - see photos. Inner sleeve: Original Patents Pending poly-lined inner sleeve is in Excellent+ condition with no writings, doodles or splits - see photos. Labels: Near Mint. No writings, stickers or doodles - fabulous condition. Vinyl: Play tested. Thick heavy duty vinyl. Looks Excellent with a lovely sheen and just some light whispy hairlines. Lightly played and well cared for. No skips or jumps. There is some light occasional background but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of this record. Playback rates as VG+ to Near Excellent - especially considering that the record is now 43 years old. 'Signed for' Postage & packaging: £7 (UK) £15 (EUROPE) £25 (REST OF THE WORLD) Gradings....... Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
