Description Guaranteed original 1971 pressing of the holy grail self-titled Grannie L.P. My father, Dave 'Aitch' Holland, was the bassist (and contributed vocals) on this album, and we have another copy potentially up for sale; one is my father's own personal copy, and is in excellent condition (I would say VG+). 'Ask Me A Question' for more info. The second copy is the one that is pictured and for sale here, and was until a week ago, a long-lost and forgotten copy that was in the possession of my late aunt. This copy has been stored in a record box since 1971 and other than two small scratches (shown in the pics) is pretty much immaculate and appears to have had next to no play. The scratches themselves do not cause any needle skip, and produce a short series of fairly unobtrusive clicks during play. I counted one noticeable click on the first, and six on the other. Again, the clicks are not particularly loud or obtrusive, and are no louder than the crackle and pop that you normally get on older records. These two small marks aside, the record is other wise in fantastic - almost immaculate - condition, as is the handmade cover. This copy has been stored inside a protective PVC sleeve since 1971, and then placed inside a locked record box and, until last week, we do not believe it had seen the light of day since. The record is currently stored in a temperature controlled, smoke free and pet free environment (I myself am a record collector). Again, both are 100% original pressings, with the rare handmade pasted on covers, and were personal / family copies of this much sought after piece of prog rock / psych history.
