Description This is a very fine collection of 10,000 - 12,000 LPs and 45s from a relative's estate who was a previous record store owner (closed in the 70s) and collector. I would estimate the collection to be 80% rock (in all genres), and the rest jazz and blues (in various forms), a few country, comedy, oldies etc.., but a very small percentage. My thought was to have my kids start a record business, but nothing ever happened and I want these out of my basement (which is very dry). This collection has never been picked through. There are tons of the big names, beatles, stones, who, zappa, etc.... The collection is approx. 10% 50s, 20% 60s, 55% 70s, 15% 80s. Vinyl records are very hot now, and this would be an instant business for someone who has the time to do so, which I do not. I would prefer (almost require) that you sort through and evaluate before placing a bid. I will guarantee that you will not be disappointed in this collection.
