This month we are fortunate enough to offer an incredible dub/reggae/ska collection (Including 2 original ultra rarities on Black Ark - also know as Black Art - from the master himself, Lee Perry). These auctions are almost entirely compromised of one gentleman's collection of original Jamaican Pressings. He was a radio DJ from the mid-1970's to the mid 1980's. He frequented Jamaica with the mindset of collecting these limited press records. There are many alternate pressings and unknowns. He also had his local Boston record shop special ordering Jamaican pressings. This collection truly does tell a story of a time of political, social and religious unrest. There is also an interesting mix of Calypso/Island. Many play much better than they are graded and I try to be conservative in my grading. My grading is visual and some have sound clips attached (if not Most are available on YouTube). All are original (unless otherwise noted, very few) and guaranteed to be 100% authentic.
