ITEM FOR AUCTION ** ALL ITEMS ARE ORIGINAL U.S PRESSES UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED · ARTIST/GROUP: WILD WOOD · TITLE: same · FORMAT: LP; stereo · LABEL/CATALOGUE #: None; cat. #WW-101 · COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S. · RELEASE DATE: ca. mid ‘70s · LABEL DESCRIPTION: See Photos · SONG TITLES: See Photos · COMMENTS / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Rare killer original private/DIY rural hippie psych-rock-folk by obscure band. With some blooz, and prog moves, even a Beatles-inspired tune (“I Love You”). Personnel are Linda Reoch, Marc Stuart, William Clay, Ronnie Levine and David Hull, playing all kinds of instruments, including fuzz guitar, Moog, wah-wah, kalimba, flute, 12-string guitar, electric autoharp, spoons, organ, harmonica, Rhodes, occasional whimsical horns, environmental sounds – NO lush arrangements. Excellent musicianship, vocals and self-produced, almost-all original tunes. · Back cover includes a bizarre little description follows each track listing on the back cover – my favorite is for Nobody Wants To Know: “A song with a message about the lurid, disgusting, dirty, pandering, diseased, violent, scuzzy, sex-infested gutters of the city…real commercial!”. · AUTOGRAPHED BY THE ENTIRE BAND HEAR EXCERPT: http://www.divshare.com/download/26478016-068 (NOTE - Audio clip is UNEDITED and from actual disc) CONDITION: (See GRADING GUIDELINES below for further details) · VINYL: VG (very glossy, some small light scratches and one longer one; plays well with slight surface noise in some spots) · COVER: VG/VG+ LP GRADING GUIDELINES NOTE: All LPs are professionally cleaned using the VPI HW-17 RECORD CLEANING SYSTEM and carefully inspected under a grading lamp with 120-watt bulb. Guidelines reflect TYPICAL factors determining grade - variations are noted in the description Please note: I DO NOT USE EXCELLENT (EX) as a grade. Flaws for ALL covers graded below VG+ are noted in the description. I rarely use grades below VG, and all vinyl graded VG or less is appropriately spot play-graded to assure sound quality. Grades below G are not listed, as I typically do not sell merchandise in such condition. Intermediate grades (e.g., NM-, VG/VG+, VG++) are used, as applicable. MINT: Factory Sealed; cover virtually flawless. NM+ (Near Mint Plus) - Factory sealed with minor cover flaws, OR an otherwise mint LP recently opened by me and played in spots for demonstration purposes. NM (Near Mint) - vinyl, cover and labels nearly flawless. VG+ (Very Good Plus) - what many refer to as "excellent"; pretty close to NM. Full or nearly full-gloss vinyl with a few hairlines, minor surface scuffs and/or sleeve marks; possibly one or a couple small, light scratches (inaudible or causing unobtrusive soft clicks, noted as applicable in the description) on an otherwise NM piece. Expect only slight surface noise in spots. Cover has slight general wear and/or aging, OR minimal wear/aging and a couple of minor flaws (noted as applicable in the description). VG (Very Good) - Vinyl still glossy, possibly with slight graying; has a few or some light scuffs, sleeve marks and hairlines, possibly a few small light scratches. Expect only slight surface noise in spots. VG- (Very Good Minus) - Vinyl typically glossy with slight or some graying; generally has all of the flaws noted in the VG grade to a greater degree (hairlines, light scuffs, surface marks, small light scratches, sleeve marks). Expect slight or some surface noise that's noticeable but NOT overwhelming. G (Good) - Vinyl typically still glossy with some graying; generally has some scuffs, surface marks and light scratches, plus lots of sleeve marks and hairlines. Expect some surface noise throughout that's noticeable but NOT overwhelming - NO skips, sticks, heavy scuffs, deep scratches, excessive noise, or loud pops or clicks (unless noted in description).
