This auction is for the following, original LP. The Cornells – Beach Bound ( Beachbound) issued by the label Garex Records – LP - GA100 (GA 100) made in 1963.I really hesitate to grade a record but I will do my best - I have probably sold about 20-30 records over the past 10 years on eBay and have never had an issue and they were all scarce records. I understand condition is everything and some of my pics are useless. I believe the sleeve is Good and the record is VG minus to VG. The sleeve has edge rubbing with very upper left edge a bit more rubbed, tips have rubbing, lower left edge front paper cracked but I don't think the seam is split. Rear of cover has rubbing and blue ink check upper left and black scribble below Beach. There was no original paper inner sleeve - just a ABC Paramount sleeve. The record has light handling and has been obviously played but not a disaster. The only mark that I could feel is a scratch that runs halfway into the first track , first side - so when played that is a tick for half of song. I was pleasantly surprised at how the lp sounds - it sounded really clean to me and this record has never been cleaned. 2nd side has a visible scratch to songs 5 and 6 (I tried to show this in auction pics) but you can not feel it and when played I could barely detect it - on 3rd song of 2nd side there is another very light tick. In raking light the lp (both sides) looks handled with light surface lines and/or smudge but it plays way cleaner than it looks. So when I read Goldmines grading this lp is a VG no problem. Because it has a nice sheen and sounds so good - if it weren't for the tick on the 1st song I would think this would be a VG+? I will pack it well.
