Description This listing is for a vintage Playboys lp featuring Chet Baker and Art Pepper. The jacket has a copyright date of 1957 by World Pacific Records. I have rated the lp a VG++ after doing a lot of research about vintage lps but since I didn't have a safe way to listen to or clean the lp the rating is based on a careful visual examination. It could warrant a higher rating. The lp is shiny with a few light marks. The labels are excellent. The record has been stored in a World-Pacific Records dust jacket. The back right corner of the dust jacket has a rectangle removed where apparently a coupon had been clipped. The opening had been repaired by taping a piece of paper to over the gap to protect the lp. The top left of the dust jacket has a 3.5 inch spit along the crease and the upper right has separated down about 2 inches but is not ripped. Otherwise the dust jacket is in good condition. The album cover is in very good condition. The edges have a few rubs and both entry corners are neatly split about 1 inch. The color is bright on the front and there is no damage to the images on the front or writing on the back. There is a 1/8 inch red dot on the front center right side of the of the album cover that appears to be original to the cover. It has no dimension to it and has the same sheen as the rest of the front cover. There is a light stain (fingerprint?) on the back right center edge I am not a collector of lp or an expert on them so please look carefully at the pictures to help you decide if this is an item you would be interested in. Don't hesitate to ask questions. This album along with 150 other jazz albums were in a house we purchased at an estate auction. It was a one owner home built in 1954 and the couple didn't have children so the things left behind were in very good condition. They took very good care of the albums which were stored in the linen closet. I will be listing others as time permits.
