Released 1950. Bill Quinn's Gold Star was the predominant record label in Houston in the late 40s-early 50s, recording mainly country, Cajun, and R&B music. Some discoloration to labels but record surface is still nice and shiny with only minimal background noise. Thompson was originally from Waco and had quite a following in the Houston/Beaumont-Port Arthur area in the late 40s-early 50s.
