Muddy Waters Folk Singer Original Master Recording (Mobile Fidelity MFSL 1-201) Waters (vcl, g) with Buddy Guy (g); Willie Dixon (b); and Clifton James (d). No Guy on "Feel Like Going Home"; Dixon and James on only "My Home Is in the Delta", "Long Distance", "Good Morning, School Girl", and "Country Boy".Recorded in september 1963; released in january 1964. Mobile Fidelity remastering in 1994. Issue: Half-speed production and mastering by Original Masteringworks. Specially plated and pressed on 200 grams of high-definition vinyl. Special static-free/dust-free inner sleeve. Heavy duty protective packaging. Mastered from the original master tapes. Special limited edition no. 9239 (gold stamped on back cover) Condition: NM. The record was a gift. I had never played nor even removed it from its protective sleeve till I photographed it for auction. Someone complained of a scratch on side one. I then inspected and played it (for the first time). It plays perfectly. The mark is a blemish, a defect in the manufacturing. It is not a scratch. Only imperfections anywhere on cover are in the upper left corner of closed end, very slightly bumped, and a slight wrinkle on back cover, lower left corner. I'm an independent seller divesting his own record collection. I'm not selling from a store or warehouse, with multiple copies of titles, or on behalf of a professional collector. Shipping: Ebay requires seller to indicate shipping methods and other particulars, then automatically inserts the cost at the top of the listing. Buyer will pay amount as determined by destination and shipping method he chooses; I don't gouge the price to make more profit. (USPS Media Mail is cheapest; I will provide prices for US Priority, or for FedEx or UPS ground, if requested.) Insurance is mandatory: Please wait till I inform you of cost prior to submitting payment. It and not Ebay's stated cost is the amount to be paid.**For winners outside US**: USPS shipping options are International Priority and International Express. Both methods include insurance but only Express has tracking. If you want a different shipper, I will quote you the cost at end of auction.Packing: The LP will be carefully wrapped, then placed in a standard, cardboard LP box. Please indicate any special instructions. Payment: I accept Paypal. I also accept cash in cases of in-person deliveries.Returns: Returns will be accepted in cases of error in description.I am the author of Wail: The Life of Bud Powell. To read about his extraordinary life, and see how you can order a paperback copy, go to BudPowellBio. N A record known to be new. This includes factory sealed records. NM A record known or assumed to have been played. May have a surface scuff mark but only from removing and reinserting record in sleeve. May have slight spindle wear. Otherwise, appears same as N in all respects. VG++ More handling marks visible than on N-, but should play like a new record. VG+ No more than a few minor scratches or marks which are audible. Such scratches or other defects will usually be described in specific detail. Record will usually not have any groove wear. VG More than a few minor audible defects, but no steady noise. No appreciable groove wear.
