THE ZOMBIES - Time Of The Zombies - Epic - Double 12” LP - 1974 - ROCK POP KEG32861 Compilation of some of the best tracks from one of the finest bands of the 1960s This appears to be the USA version of the album, identified on Discogs as the ‘Pitman Pressing’ Outer sleeve: VG. While it would be honest to state this gatefold sleeve is not in peak condition visually, it’s also fair to say it is structurally sound (no cuts or tears). Storage wear seems to be the culprit, though it’s a darn sight better than the examples pictured on Discogs! Inner Sleeve: Plain white - not much of note save for the apparent previous ownership (he’s written his name on there) of Simon Cantwell, at the time ‘art director/designer’ at CBS/Epic and ultimately responsible for (amongst others) album artworks by Soft Machine, Chicken Shack, The Stranglers, Ozzy Osbourne and... the Wombles! A bit of useless trivia (Courtesy of Discogs and the depths of my memory) there for you..... Disc: VG+ 28 tracks on this album (it’s a long haul!) but I must confess to only hearing the odd crackle, and not very much of that NON-UK BIDDERS - Please bear in mind before bidding that delivery costs (I use ebay’s Global Shipping Programme) MAY BE MORE than the value of the record. I’m not a record dealer but just someone who has suddenly reached pensionable age and that old adage ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ has started to ring true. So it’s time to release some equity from my record collection, which includes 60s,70s & 80s vinyl albums and singles, plus my extensive, predominantly-1977 punk/new wave singles collection (including a genuine Peaches ‘Blackmail’ sleeve to be auctioned at some stage….) My gradings are guided by Discogs, and I’m trying to be as honest and accurate as I can. All records played one last time before posting on ebay, just to be sure…
