Description This Are Two Tone2 Tone Records CHR TT 5007, 1983 We’re having a bit of a clearout of stuff at home so I’ve put my usual eBay sales of art and ephemera mostly to one side for a few weeks. I’ve got a large personal collection of vinyl, lots of which I don’t play any more, so one of the things I will be selling is records. For those who don’t know this album, it is a kind of cross between “2 Tone’s Greatest Hits” and “2 Tone - The Rarities”. On the one hand, it includes some of the biggest selling of 2 Tone singles such as: the Specials’ Ghost Town and Gangsters (as the Special AKA); The Selecter’s On My Radio; Madness by Madness; and The Beat’s version of Tears of a Clown. On the other hand, it also has tracks that made almost no impact on the record-buying public, such as the Swinging Cats’ Mantovani; Jungle Music by Rico Rodriguez and the rather unsettling The Boiler by Rhoda Dakar. The record has some very faint surface marks but plays all the way through on both sides with no audible problems at all. The sleeve and labels are in nice clean condition. There were two versions of the sleeve to this album, one with a blue background to the design on the front and the other with a pink background.
