Description An extremely rare opportunity to obtain a copy of one of the scarcest dub albums around: King Tubby & Jacob Miller E-E Saw Dub This album became known as EE Saw Dub because when it was released in 1975 it was shipped with totally incorrect labels 'City of the Weak Heart', by Earl Zero, on the EE Saw label. However this was *not* an Earl Zero album but was in fact an ultra rare killer dub album mixed by King Tubby, including dubs from Jacob Millers 'Tenement Yard' album plus tracks laid by Inner Circle/Fatman Riddim Section and others. The addition of Bernard 'Touter' Harvey's Moog synthesizer gave this album a distinctive and unusual sound. The entire run of this LP has the incorrect Earl Zero labels, released in a plain sleeve, matrix etching: EW-LP 301-A / EW-LP 301-B. I'd describe this copy as being in Very Good condition, although as you can see someone has scratched out the year of publishing on both labels. Grading these original Jamaican pressings for audio quality is very difficult as they were often pretty crackly even from new. Visually it's pretty clean and scratch-free, and plays well. The LP on offer here is notable because it's the actual copy used to master the Motion Records re-issue of this album from 2006, under the name 'King Tubby Meets Jacob Miller In A Tenement Yard'.
