Description Amazing item!This is a 100% official in-house demo cassette by Wham! of 'Freedom'. This would have been produced in tiny quantities at Town House Studios (see below, West London on behalf of Epic Records and circulated among the top echelon of producers, managers etc. connected with the band ahead of the tracks official release in October 1984. It's a C10 cassette (5 minutes per side) and features the 7" mix of 'Freedom' which would have been dubbed directly from the Master tapes onto an Ampex studio quality cassette on Side A, there is no music on Side B. This has been fully and attentively play tested on a high-end cassette deck and I can confirm that it plays faultlessly without any disintegration or tape drop-off or any other faults. I doubt that you will ever find another! Condition:Plays perfectly without any issues. The cassette shell is in superb condition with no damage to either the shell or labels.Thank you for looking. The Town House (or Townhouse Studios) was a recording and mastering studio complex in West London, built by Richard Branson and Ian Cooper in late 1978 as part of the Virgin Studios Group.The Goldhawk building included 3 recording studios (studio 1, studio 2 and studio 4, the latter was built later) and 2 cutting rooms (equipped with Neumann VMS 80 Lathes, SX74 cutter heads and SAL74 Drive Amplifiers).
