Each box set has the album notes. In the case of the operas, these notes have the librettos. A most of the box sets have the original RCA paper sleeves inside the box. Four (4) of the box sets do not have sleeves but instead have this interesting statement on a pieces of paper that reads, in part: “Contrary to custom the records in this album have not been placed in individual paper sleeves. ….The raised label on 45s fully prevents any harmful contact between grooved surfaces of the records during shipment. Paper separators – such as this sheet – are designed to protect the record labels…” VERY INTERESTING. I never knew that. All the records appear to be in great condition.
