From your #1 source of hard to find desert discs we offer a Stunning Rare Killer Arizona Rockabilly platter by JIMMIE PATTON titled "Okie's In The Pokie" b/w "Hut-Horp" on the Hilligan label #HC-001/002 from 1960. This one has rarely turned up, and never in this condition! Mint. Solid NOS, from old store stock, never played, with it's pristine original brown paper sleeve. (Has a very, very slight dish) WOW! There is no better copy anywhere! You can quote me...please do. See scan. There is a You Tube clip of this record if you are not familiar with this smokin' song that was comped years ago on the the groovy "Rockin' And Boppin' In The Desert" Vol. 1 CD from Bear Family Records. "Okie's In The Pokie" was later released on the Sims label, with out the spoken intro. This is a 45 rpm record. LAST COPY. NO RESERVE. And now some history....Hilligan Records at 3200 Grand Avenue Phoenix, AZ. was owned by musician, club owner and DJ (KRIZ) Sheldon Gibbs, who had his own recordings on the Smart label. The record was pressed (100?) at Wakefield Manufacturing in Phoenix, in 1960, with no house #, only "sjw" in the dead wax. Gibbs owned The Willow Breeze on Grand Avenue, a popular gathering place for local musicians who would hold jam sessions there on the week-ends. Check my positive feedback and bid with confidence. Satisfaction Guaranteed.Free USPS First Class shipping in US!! Postage to England, Europe, Asia, Japan & Australia is $14.00. Purchase multiple items and save on shipping. Paypal purchases are usually shipped within two days. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me. Check out my many other Arizona musical items currently for sale on eBay.
