The first LP was recorded with the quartet-line-up in 1976 at the “9. Total Music Meeting”, Berlin, organized by Free Music Production. The second LP was recorded without D.Holland in 1985 at the INCUS 16th anniversary festival at the Arts Theatre, London. Fantastic and unique free improvised music at its best on a rare vinyl edition of a collectable label. Line-up: Evan Parker/soprano & tenorsax – Paul Rutherford/trombone – Dave Holland/doublebass & cello – Paul Lovens/selected drums 6 cymbals, saw Tracks: side 1: To Meet a (23:36) side 2: To Meet b (15:14) side 3: To Stay a (first part) (24:12) side 4: To Stay a (continued) (16:33) - To Stay b (6:03) Condition: I've listened carefully to the complete records on my REGA PLANAR 9 with EINSTEIN TU 3 cartridge and on my LINN AXIS with DENON MC: side 1 has one papersleeve-line and one tiny hairline, the rest of side 1 looks mint-. The first line is non-feelable and non-audible, the second line causes low tics behind the music during ca. 3 minutes of the last 4 minutes of the last track, not constantly and most of the time real low, but in the quieter parts you will hear them. Side 2 looks mint-, it plays as such except for a few very low tics at the beginning (no visible reason for this). Sides 3 and 4 look and play perfectly in mint-. The heavy gatefold-cover has a nice front, the back has a few abrasions, the inner is beautiful with slightest ringwear, all seams/spine are intact with medium rub on the spine and the lower seam, there’s more rub on the upper seam, slight corner wear; overall in strong vg, please look at the pictures ! Zustand: ich habe die kompletten LPs konzentriert sowohl auf meinem REGA PLANAR 3 mit EINSTEIN TU 3 System als auch auf meinem LINN AXIS mit DENON MC angehört: Seite 1 hat eine Papersleeve-Line und eine Hairline, der Rest dieser Seite sieht mint- aus; die erste Line ist weder fühl- noch hörbar, die zweite Line verursacht einige leisere Tics hinter der Musik für ca. 3 Minuten der letzten 4 Minuten des letzten Stücks, nicht durchgehend und die meiste Zeit über wirklich leise, aber in den ruhigeren Stellen kam sie doch hören. Seite 2 sieht mint- aus, spielt auch genauso bis auf ein paar sehr leise Tics am Amgang ( ohne erkennbare optische Ursache). Seite 3 und 4 sind optisch und akkustisch in mint-. Das schwere Klapp-Cover hat eine schöne Vorderseite, auf der Rückseite sind einige leichte Abschabungen, das Innere sieht sehr schön aus mit nur leichtem Ringwear, alle Kanten sind intakt mit moderatem Abrieb auf der seitlichen und der unteren Kante, die obere Kante hat etwas mehr davon, leichtes Ecken-Wear; insgesamt in wirklich gutem vg, bitte die Fotos anschauen ! Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer. Grading & Cleaning: all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading) I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment) I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- .
