I have a small collection of circa 1960's colored record albums from Japan listed this week, so please take a look at my other auctions. All these records have flimsy paper covers with plastic over them. Plastic is torn on some, paper may have creases, wear and/or tears. I don't have a record player to try these out, but generally they look pretty good. I don't see a lot of scratches and wear to the records. If I see something that looks like a deep scratch I'll note it. But I used to play records back in the 60's and 70's and these look a lot better than the records I had! Anyway...please feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer. And I DO offer combined shipping discounts, so bid early and bid often - on lots of them!! This lot consists of Annette Funicello " Muscle Beach Party" sound track, TWL-1138, with what looks like hot rod/beach/surfer music. "Annette's Boss Versions of DRAGGIN' U.S.A., SHUTDOWN AGAIN, CUSTOM CITY, REBEL RIDER". This record is orange, and it looks quite good to me, I only see a few very, very small, light scratches. Next is "Beach Party", it looks like Annette again, with Frankie Avalon, I think. This record is red. It has some light scratches (side a is better than b). from Haishan Records. Last is Surfer Music by The Challengers. "Young Young Beat". Songs like "WIPE OUT", "PIPELINE" "GHOST RIDER". The record is pink, and it looks very good, I don't see any issues other than there are a couple manufacturing imperfections in the vinyl. All three of these need to be cleaned. Payment is due within 5 days of auction end. Washington State residents pay sales tax, unless you provide me with a copy of your resale permit.7/25/18 UPDATE: A nice ebayer informed me that these records were made in Taiwan in the 1960's. Here's what he said:Yeah, I do see you may have other auctions listed with similar LPs. These were made in the mid-late 60s for our military primarily. Sometimes you'll see the catalog number begin with CSJ (Chung Sheng Records). Check out the web-site I've provided above to learn more about these releases. And here's the website: https://www.discogs.com/label/864058-%E4%B8%AD%E8%81%B2 I'M NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT RECORDS, SO PLEASE USE YOUR OWN EXPERT JUDGMENT.
