Here's the history of this HOLY GRAIL of AC/DC collectibles ~ Back in 1979 I was the manager of Licorice Pizza Music store in Pacific Beach, San Diego, Ca. My roommate was Jesse Summers of KPRI rock radio. He was the Music Director at the time. AC/DC was coming to town playing the San Diego Sports Arena. KPRI was the co-promoter of the show. The day of the show Jesse calls me and says, "Dude, you gotta get up here NOW." He wouldn't tell me why, but said "You WILL freak-out." So I jam up to the station (at that time at the corner of Balboa & Genesse) and walk into the station. Standing before me in the control room was Angus Young and Bon Scott. Well, needless to say, I was a huge AC/DC fan and yes, I FREAKED! I got to sit in on the live radio interview promoting the concert that night and talk with them for some time. Super nice guys. Before leaving, I asked Jesse if he had anything AC/DC I could get them to autograph. He pulled out this white label, promotional only Live L.P. and they signed it for me. Yes, it does say "To Larry" cuz, well, that's my name. I've kept this all these years (I'm 61 now) and have decided to part with it to someone whom shares the love of Bon Scott's era with AC/DC. The vinyl itself is in excellent condition. The cover shows a little browning on the edges expected with an album this old. I've seen Bon Scott autographs go for $2000, but I am not a greedy person. I am opening the bidding at a low NO RESERVE price of $500. I do not have a COA but this IS THE REAL DEAL. I guarantee it. I wish we had cell phones at the time so I could have taken selfies! Please email me with any questions you may have prior to bidding. Thanks for your interest and best of luck owning this piece of rock history. All sales are final. Winner expected to pay within 3 days of auction close. I ship to lower 48 states ONLY, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! Please pay thru Paypal. Rock on. The brown in the first photo is a shadow. The cover is uniformly white. *Update* I added a better picture of the cover and a couple of pics of me back in the day. The first promoting ELF, Ronnie James Dio's (who is also sorely missed) first band, which was a full page in Billboard Magazine, and the second with Pat Travers (I'm on the far left) at an in-store appearance also in 1979.Thanks to all the Bon Scott (and AC/DC) fans who have messaged me already! You guys ROCK!!
