Frankly, I don't think they add anything to the description. Under strong light, side 1 looks mint. Side 2 has some very faint mottling but since there are only scattered ticks, I have no reason to think there is any relationship between the noise and the appearance. It's a really nice record with some scattered noise as I described above. I'm not saying it's NM because of the noise but by appearance alone, it looks near mint to me. I easily stand by my EX/EX+ vinyl listening grade. FYI I have a Basis Debut Gold vacuum,Triplanar 7,Benz LP front end with Audio Research Ref5/Ref Phono2,Parasound JC1's,B&W 801 Anniversary spkrs and old top end MIT interconnect. A pretty revealing system.
