ARTIST: Beatles Title: Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band The collectable 1st pressing with the wide spine complete with original inner sleeve and cut outs. This copy has been well played but still delivers a pleasant listening experience and a chance to enjoy the original mono mix in all its analogue glory. The sleeve has a significant knock to the back/spine (see photo) but is in otherwise pretty good condition without tears, rips or writing. Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE Please note that I have tried to identify any possible minor shortcomings on the photographs. Along with the following details, I have tried to provide sufficient information for you to make an informed choice regarding bidding. Money back guarantee. Label: Parlophone ‎Year: released 1967 Country: UK Code: PMC 7027 Mono Matrix / Runout (Side A): YEX 637-1 with MAT at 9 o'clock and 9 at 3 o'clock Matrix / Runout (Side B): YEX-638-1 with APT at 9 o'clock and 9 at 3 o'clock Condition Sleeve The sleeve is overall in good/very good condition. Front: Just a handful of very small mico laminate creases and a small amount of laminate lifting where the spine has been knocked. Back: Some small creases to the laminate with a significant knock towards the spine (see photo) Inside Gatefold: Left side is excellent, some laminate creases towards the right hand edge, Opening Edge: Has softened slightly but is still OK Spine:Excellent Edges: Excellent Corners: Slight wear to the corners Inner Sleeve: The original inner sleeve has no splits or tears but has some minor staining and some very small numbers written in one corner (see photo) Insert: Excellent Comments: A presentable copy of this iconic pop art sleeve Record: The disc is not warped in any way. Side one: Visually: Under stong light there are visible hairlines and a reduction in the original sheen. Audio: On my studio monitors I can hear a low level background noise (more like tape hiss than the usual crackle) this is audible (on my kit anyway) during quiet passages: I didn't find it intrusive. Also there are about 4 light ticks during Getting Better, but no significant clicks or pops. Side two: Visually: As above Audio: Some perceptable noise at the beginning of Within You Without You and some low level noise audible on my monitors during very quiet sections. Labels Side one: Very good with some spider trails around the spindle hole Side two: KT Tax code embossed. Condition, same as above. Visually the vinyl has obviously been played, has a number of non-audible superficial hairline scratches and has lost some of its original sheen. Play testing: The MONO analogue sound is enjoyable but there is some audible background noise. I suspect if this was played on a period 60's record player the noise would not be noticabled but my studio monitors are more revealing. Summary. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood. Over the last few years I have been selling on EBay and Amazon and accrued feedback that reflects a commitment to customer service and honesty. What customers say: I literally could not be happier with the despatch, packing and delivery of my item, which exceeded all expectation. The album itself was in pristine condition, absolutely as described, and had obviously been treated with great care during it's time with PiC. Unreservedly recommended. Record received quickly and in excellent condition as advertised + well protected from damage in transit. No problems whatsoever, a highly recommended vendor. Pigg in clover have got to be the quickest service I've received - do they sleep - well pleased and will certainly use again. Super fast Shipping, very nicely packed and perfect item, as described. Another great buy from pigginclover, look forward to the next purchase! A++++ The quality of the vinyl is great. - And it arrived almost a week before I was told it would. I'm highly recommending this seller.
