Description This Beatles Yesterday and Today LP is an excellent example of this album. Both the cover and the vinyl are in very good condition, as is evident in the pictures. It is marked RIAA 3, meaning a mono cover that came from the pressing plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania. About the "butcher cover": The reader may be familiar with the controversy over a previous version of this album known as a "butcher cover" which was discontinued. This cover was used to paste over the original covers for some time before other versions appeared. Prior to listing this album, I consulted other eBay users who were selling similar items and was advised that this LP fit the criteria. Some stated that this IS a paste-over butcher cover, but in fairness I cannot see the "V" that others report to the right of the trunk. All other boxes are ticked: It is the right cover, the right pressing plant, the right numbers, etc. Bottom line, this is an excellent specimen of this album, paste-over butcher or not, and should be worth at least the starting price. Anything beyond that is a guess and entirely up to the buyer. Notes: There is a small staple mark in the upper right corner of the back cover where a price tag was affixed.
