Sung by PETER PEARS, CLAIRE WATSON, JAMES PEASE, DAVID KELLY, OWEN BRANNIGAN + others. On the renowned classical DECCA label. This is an original 1962 issue on the DECCA "Wideband", "Unboxed" label. Condition : - The disc is on the ORIGINAL "WIDEBAND / UNBOXED" label, is a U.K. pressing issued in the 1962 (Highlights from the more extensive, full set recorded in 1959); much sought after &, hence, more valuable than other, later pressings. This original pressing is in EXCELLENT- (Near Mint for Side 2; Excellent- for Side 1 which has a small mark at the start which crackles for a few revolutions) condition both visually & sound wise; really good playback sound (apart from noted crackle at very start). The Sleeve is EXCELLENT- (a tad age stained back & a glue residue mark on front; great, true spine) .
