If you're a Dylan fan - or better - a Dylan vinyl collector, then this is a very rare opportunity to own an original, almost as-new, copy of what is considered one of Bob Dylan's masterpieces, the Daniel Lanois-produced, Time Out Of Mind. What a great album. It has not been reissued since its acclaimed release in 1997. This is a double LP, USA pressing, on Columbia Records. Dylan collectors will already know that mint vinyl copies of this album sell for over £100. I am setting a reasonable starting price at £19.99. May the best buyer win! Bought 8 years ago from a European collector, this arrived mint in unopened shrink wrap. I was tempted both to open it and keep it closed. But I had to hear it just once, and to see the inner sleeves, smell the vinyl - you know what I mean. It was played on a high-end audiophile turntable, a Project Debut III, handled very carefully and replaced back into the packaging. The photos you see are the first time since I opened it that I have taken them out again. I know, I get worried when I see eBay sellers taking out vinyl records and taking photos of them. You see people putting them on carpets, even floorboards. Crazy! As you can see, I have not done that and kept any handling to an extreme minimum. The inner sleeves have original creases on them, which is how they came - probably due to the tightness of the packaging. You can see one of the creases in the photos, in the upper right corner. A trained eye will tell you that these are not post-opening creases; the folds are too precise. Anyway, the whole package is simply beautiful to behold. I hope my photos convey this. By the way, I don't keep the discs in the original inners any more, and instead use generic white sleeves. This extra material has also helped to keep the cover intact. I have had an eBay account for more than ten years, but have not been selling or buying very much in the last three or four years, mostly due something called a baby. They do take up one's time. Plus I thought it'd be good to sell off a few valuable and much-loved records before they get attacked by a child's hands, covered in jam - or worse!
