Description This is one of my favorite Detroit records, and the best Coffey outing under his own name. It features another Motor City music great, the fab Lyman Woodard on organ. Total fuzz mastery, floating atop some of the deepest grooves, with plenty of room for the band to interject. It manages to transform these songs into completely new pieces. A glistening and multifaceted jewel in any breaks collector or crate spelunker's trunk of funk. The music lives up to the legend on this one. This is a sealed and unplayed OG, basically as you would have found it in the bin in '69. There is some minor ring wear on the cover due to storage, but no warping or bending of any kind. This is the original 1969 pressing.
