Description Diamond Head - "Lightning To The Nations" Vinyl LP. Original 1980 UK-issue 7-track LP on Happy Face Records. Genuine original 1980 copy, with the original generic white card sleeve and "Care Of Your Record" poly inner (as originally supplied). Debut self-released album from Diamond Head, a leading NWOBHM band from Stourbridge in the West Midkands (UK). They have been acknowledged as highly influential by some very successful bands, most notably Metallica. (Lars Ulrich even wrote a foreward for DH guitarist Brian Tatler's autobiography!) This originally came in 2 editions - an autographed sleeve edition, and this edition, a plain white card sleeve with printed labels. Neither of the original editions was commercially distributed - they were only available either via mail-order, or at the band's gigs. Hard to find these original copies now... Sleeve - VG Plus - Original (non-autographed) plain white card sleeve - No writing, No ringwear, No edge wear, No splits. - Small (2cm) lightly rubbed spot in the centre of the spine. - Small (3cm) surface tear on one side, possibly from stiocker removal. Hardly noticeable (white on white). - Just very light corner rubbing and general handling/storage marks. Labels - EX - No wear, writing or sticker marks. No spindle marks.
