ARTIST - FIVE-MAN QUARTETTITLE - GOOD FRIENDSLABEL - PRESTIGECATALOG NO - 79-141 RECORD GRADING - EXCELLENTCOVER GRADING - NM I only played this record twice, it looks and plays near mint but does not quite sit flush on the turn table. This is a private pressing that is very rare, there are songs from this album you can find in web searches, they appear to have been uploaded by one of the leaders' younger brothers. I have a clip of one of the songs. There are what appear to be 6 originals by the band members. There are two medleys, one is a tribute to the 60's and one is a tribute to the Mama's and the Papa's. There is a mixture of Christian and secular songs. There is one song that says recorded by Graham Central Station, but "discovered" by band member George Godwin. Whatever that means! I have a clip of the last song called "Someone's Song." The songs, especially the six originals, are very well done, with quiet acoustic guitar, some flute, and some quiet piano. At times they have sunshine pop style vocals. Hear it and enjoy....the record is extremely hard to find. International bidders- I now mostly ship using e-Bays's International Standard Delivery. It sends the item to a shipping center in the U.S. and they send it off from there. If you would like to change the shipping preference please let me know. And as always, I do not change values on customs labels. Thank you. I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!! VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM:(based on Goldmine) Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus.Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink.Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover.VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear. VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits.VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits. G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed. STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects. Hairline scuffs - are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one. I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying Powered by eCommercePlayer.com
