Capitol Records catalog # ST 2418, stereo, copyright 1965. A very clean copy of actor Ken Curtis performing as his famous Gunsmoke charactor Festus Haggen on the album, "Gunsmoke's Festus Sings and Talks About Dodge City and Stuff!", arranged and conducted by Rex Dennis. Curtis' character provided the comic relief on "Gunsmoke", and he continues in that vein on this record, offering stories and songs about life and times in Dodge City. Track List Side One: Festus Talks About Gunsmoke's Dodge City Dodge City Festus Tells About His Grandpa Hawg Haggen The Ballad of Hawg Haggen Festus Talks About Girls Golly Bill Festus Talks About Teenage Music and Dances Corn Bread and Buttermilk Track List Side Two: Festus Tells About His Home Town My Home Town festus Writes to His Girl Phooey On You Little Darlin' Festus Talks About Mules You're Nothin' But A "It" Festus Tells About His Trip to Las Vegas Las Vegas, Nevada Vinyl is in excellent condition.
