This is a great record from Jeff Simmons titled "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up". This is his second release on Straight Records, released in 1969. It Rock and Roll fused with Blues and hints of Psyche, some great drums and solid guitar solos. "I'm In The Music Business" is my favorite song, the opening break is nice. There are some great moments on this record, with Frank Zappa playing lead guitar on the tracks "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up" and "Raye". The condition of the vinyl itself I have graded conservatively at VG. The center label is flawless on both sides with no spindle wear at all. The B-side has a couple of surface scratches that don't skip and provide only the absolute faintest of feedback during play. The A-side is much cleaner with some extremely light hairlines. Again the sound quality is fantastic. The vinyl still contains a lot of that original luster, however there are some fingerprints that could stand to be properly removed but it isn't serious at all. If taken through a VPI cleaner this record would be a VG+ easily The cover I am grading a VG as well because the upper left corner is cut. Aside from that, the cover is a VG++. There is no ring wear to the front and only very light ring wear to the back along the bottom and top. The gatefold is flawless, The spine is in perfect condition and the top/bottom/opening edges contain no fraying or dings. All corners (aside from the cut corner) are solid. Artwork is perfect front, back and gatefold. If you have any further questions please feel free to message me, I'll respond quickly. Thanks.
