Artist: Jon Anderson Title: Olias of Sunhillow Details: - 1st UK Pressing on the Atlantic Label in Textured `Book Style Thick Card `Gothic Print UK` Gatefold sleeve, in what looks like `Unplayed` condition, Jon Anderson 1st solo LP back in 1976, a real Prog Monster this one that can be heard in it`s true glory with all it`s Quiet and loud sections on Top Condition vinyl. The album's concept was inspired by the Roger Dean cover for the 1972 Yes album Fragile, which depicts a tiny planet breaking apart and a glider escaping into space. This original 1st pressing sleeve features `Book` style with a series of artworks by the artist David Fairbrother Roe, RA (whose other work included graphics for the Isle of Wight Festival and the Dragonflight novels of Anne McCaffrey. A really top find in this condition!!! - Run out/Matrix side 1 K50261 A9E/side 2 K50261 B12E Label: Atlantic Catalogue No: K50261 Year: 1976 Country: UK Vinyl: (M-) Lovely Copy, looks as new under normal light, Even under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can see just the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs - Looks Unplayed Top Copy. Sleeve: (NM) Superb `Gothic Print, UK` Textured `book Style` Gatefold - this is a real joy to view with its `Dave Roe` artwork depicted over 6 thick card pages of this `Book like` Gatefold Sleeve, Spine is still sharp with clear writing, hardly any edge wear, sharp opening, great to see this artwork in it`s full glory, which is only captured on these 1st pressings - top copy (see photos) Inserts: (NM) Original 1st press `Thick Card textured Inner` often comes with the vinyl having knifed through the edges. Not this copy probably as good as you`ll find with opening edge still pristine!!! Labels: No visible spindle lines, Looks Unplayed Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £9.50 I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
