VG+ - may show some light scratches or scuffs, that don't affect one's listening pleasure. This may include slight warps that don't affect play. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration. VG - may have surface background noise, but will not overpower the music. May have deep scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, have tape, or stickers. G (Good) or G+ - records can be played through without skipping, but there is probably significant surface noise.
