This 1957 release contains 10 tracks recorded 1952-1954. The musicians are Lou Donaldson (alto sax), Blue Mitchell, Kenny Dorham (trumpet), Matthew Gee (trombone), Horace Silver, Elmo Hope (piano), Gene Ramey, Percy Heath (bass), Art Taylor, Art Blakey (drums). The tunes are If I Love Again, Down Home, The Best Things In Life Are Free, Lou's Blues, Cheek To Cheek, Sweet Juice, The Stroller, Roccus, Caracas, Moe's Bluff.Condition of record is E-, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks.
