You are bidding on a second US pressing copy of the Misfits - Walk Among Us LP released by Ruby Records in 1982. This is JRR 804. Second pressing with the purple background/pink Misfits logo! This record came out of the collection of a central Texas music fan, known to many musicians/fellow music lovers, who tragically lost his life late last year. He frequently attended concerts and shows here in central Texas and elsewhere. He enjoyed meeting musicians and liked to get their autographs, such as this record. It has been signed by all four band members: Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle, and Robo! Being that Robo has signed the record also, it is very likely that this record was signed here in Austin when the group played here at the Ritz Theatre on January 29, 1983 during their Earth A.D. tour (keep reading for more info on this!). Their signatures can be found on the front of the jacket (see picture). All of the signatures have been signed in blue pen. The record is in VG condition with some light surface scuffs/scratches but plays and sounds fine. The record labels are in NM condition. The record jacket is in VG- condition with some shelfwear, ringwear, and edgewear. There are some creases (all of which are one inch or less) along the spine of the jacket as well as along the top/bottom seams of the jacket. There are also two larger creases, one 6 inch crease and one 3 inch crease, on the back of the jacket. This copy has the original record inner sleeve with lyrics and photos, which is in VG- condition. The sleeve has a 6 inch seam split on the bottom seam as well as a 3 inch seam split on one of the side seams. Included with this record are a few items we found inside of the jacket: a Misfits Fiend Club envelope which contains 4 small Misfits stickers and 3 Fiend Club order forms. We also discovered a small advertisement for the aforementioned show at the Ritz Theatre (along with the Big Boys on the bill) as well as an article cut out from the Daily Texan (this is the local newspaper for the University of Texas) which talks about this same show. The sitckers are in VG+ condition, as are the mail order forms which have been folded once. The Fiend Club envelope is in VG condition and also has been folded once. The newspaper clippings are in VG/VG- condition, with the article from the Daily Texas having a one and a half inch tear near the bottom. Special shipping notice: As of July 28th, 2013, we are no longer offering shipping to Italy due to continued problems with packages getting to their proper destination in a timely basis (if at all!). We are sorry we have to do this, but unfortunately we have seen a recent spike in the amount of packages being shipped to Italy that have either gone missing entirely or have taken excessively long to reach their destination. We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are: Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects! Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition. Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing. Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners. Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam. Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches. jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc... Waterloo is a 25 year old, nationally recognized independent retail store in Austin, TX. We have one of the largest inventories of cd's in the southern United States, and stock loads of Texas independent artists.
