Shattered World Music - Used and Rare Items The Story Yes, you read that correctly. All of them. This auction is for a complete set of Moon Records/Moon Ska Vinyl released between 1984 and 1998 - every piece of vinyl that had officially had a Moon catalogue number on it is here (and even one or two that did not). Most of these records are the copies featured on my discography site, Pette Discographies. Almost all are in beautiful shape as well - some of the 30-year old white sleeves are a little wrinkly or discolored. Otherwise, great condition for the most part - if you have specific questions, please ask. We are unlikely to ever see these records sold as a set again - don't miss your chance for an instant collection of vinyl from the label that defined ska's 3rd wave. This includes the first pieces of vinyl released by the Toasters, Slackers, Pietasters, and Dance Hall Crashers. It has the three compilations most critical to the early days of the 3rd wave ska scene. It even contains the particularly scarce original vinyl pressing of the first Dance Hall Crashers album and the maddening Dr. Ring Ding No Reason for Season 7", most copies of which were presumed destroyed when the Moon Ska storefront closed. The winning bidder will get 14 12"s/LPs and 17 7"s. Get on it. Use that Record Store Day budget for something you will still want a month later! This is the full list of records in the set: The Toasters - Beat Up 7" - Ice Bear/Moon Records Toast 1/2 East of Eden - Mystik Mood 7" - Moon Records Toast 3/4 The Toasters - Recriminations 12" EP - Moon Records Toast 5/6 Kill Me LP - Moon Records Toast 7/8 V/A - N.Y. Beat LP - Moon Records Toast 9/10 Dieter Osten - East of Eden LP - Moon Records Toast 11/12 The Toasters/Beat Brigade Split 7" - Moon Records Toast 13/14 Legal Gender/The Scene Split 7" - Moon Records Toast 15/16 At this point, Moon moved over from the "Toast" numbering system to a more traditional one, but they tried to assign "MR" numbers to some of the "Toast" releases, and it got a little screwy/inconsistent...see Pette Discographies for more of that story.
