Description ARTIST: Erich Kleiber, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra TITLE: Mozart: Le Nozze Di Figaro LABEL: Decca stereo SXL 2087 2088 2089 2090 COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: UK COVER CONDITION: VG-; box has wear and some damage, most notably in the upper right corner (see pictures). There is splitting on the seams on the rear. Spine has some wear but looks nice overall. VINYL CONDITION: visually, the sides range from VG- to VG+, with sides 1 and 4 being the worst. The marks are mostly superficial, but side 4 has a feel-able scratch that causes a tick for 2 minutes in the middle of the side. Overall, playback is noisy with crackle and the occasional pop. Side 1 has the most noise, but improves as the side progresses, and the discs sound mostly excellent in the louder parts. Other sides have moderate noise and crackle, and are overall enjoyable. DETAILS: vintage stereo pressing, circa 1960. Black/silver FFSS Decca labels (see pictures). This box comes with original inners, libretto and booklet, all in nice condition. The discs are "autocoupled", meaning disc one has sides 1/8, disc two has sides 2/7, etc. Matrix numbers: 5E/4K, 4F/4F, 4F/2K, 3E/3F 2089/2090 are w/b groove "pancake" discs, the other 2 discs have a raised lip.
