Unlike modern pirates, the '60s offshore stations were trying to open the airwaves to commercial music, rather than "alternative" sounds, though some hard rock entered into their playlists as well. This album includes jingles and on-air snippets from Radio Caroline, Radio London and many others, including air checks where the deejays broadcast SOS signals due to bad weather in the North Sea. Great historical document. This copy is in very good-to-excellent condition, with light wear to the vinyl and a bit of wear to the jacket, including a few blemished, and shadows of old used-price stickers.
