This is the one you've been waiting for Birdman fans. You don't see many in this condition, if at all. Includes all 6 x 12" records, 7" Aloha Steve and Danno single, cloth patch, huge poster, letter from Deniz Tek and, as a bonus, the very first issue of "From The Vault" Australian Record Collector magazine that has a great Radio Birdman feature including the band's "family tree".There is extensive info on Discogs ( http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=2006205&ev=rb ), which mentions the inclusion of a badge as well as the patch, but according to Deniz Tek's website there was no badge included ( http://deniztek.com/discography/768/rb_ashes_boxset.html ). It was a limited edition but not sure how many were released.Condition: Too many items to photograph individually so here's a detailed description. You can trust my gradings - see feedback.Box lid: A strong VG. Very clean with some edge wear, with 2 of the 4 corners in great condition, the 3rd is worn but not split and the worst corner is shown in the image. It had split and has been internally repaired as per image. Most repairs happen on the outside and aren't as neat. No writing, tears or splits.Box bottom: Very clean with all corners intact. Only some creasing on two sides where red vinyl hasn't been applied quite straight, and superficial edge wear. Very solid. No writing, tears or splits.Patch: perfect.Poster: EX. No writing, tears or creasing other than the folds and some light crinkling. Some age spots on the back. Tiny hole starting at the first fold intersection from left. Measures 57 x 89 cm.Deniz Tek letter: EX minor creasing at top left corner and age spots front and back. No writing, tears or folds.7" single: EX/EX/EX - vinyl looks unplayed, labels clean, sleeve perfect.Magazine: EX throughout. Small sticker on front. No writing, creases, tears or marks. Just some light crinkling consistent with its age. Staple binding is solid. 9 page spread on RB, including the awesome family tree graphic centrefold. Also has stories on Pink Finks, Australian music from 1970-1973 and a profile on the reissue guru, Glenn A Baker, as well as other cool stuff from the time. Dig the old classifieds and ads.12" records grading as follows: front cover/back cover/A side/B side/labels/insertRadios Appear (Overseas Version): EX/EX/EX/EX/EX/no insert unfortunately. looks barely played if at all.Living Eyes: EX/EX/EX/EX/EX/EX - looks barely played.New Race - The First and Last: EX/EX/EX/EX/EX/EX - looks barely played.Radios Appear (local version): Strong VG (some minor surface rubbing)/EX/EX/EX/EX/no insert. looks barely played.Burn My Eye EP: EX/EX/EX/EX/EX/no insert. looks barely played.More Fun! EP: EX/EX/EX/EX/EX/no insert. looks barely played. All the vinyl is in exceptional visual and audible condition. I listened to several parts of each one during listing. So there you have it. An opportunity to own a slice of Australian music history. But wait, there's MORE.....I also have listed a US Sire PROMO copy of Radios Appear for your bidding pleasure. Because too much Radio Birdman is never enough! ***CHECK MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR GREAT MUSIC AND ADD ME TO YOUR SELLERS LIST AS I WILL BE POSTING MORE IN THE WEEKS AHEAD*** Notes on my gradings:Unlike many sellers I only use 4 grades as follows (no endless list of G, G+, VG-, VG+, VG++, EX-, EX, EX+, NM-, NM etc…)F (fair - plays with excessive background or surface noise or skips)G (good - plays through without skips but has surface or background noise - what some may call VG)VG (very good - has obviously been played and has some minor surface noise but still a very good listen - what some may call VG+ or EX)EX (excellent - a very clean record with negligible or no surface noise, a great listen - what some may call NM or M-)I won't be selling any new vinyl, hence no M (mint) option. In addition I'll add a more detailed description because I play grade all the vinyl I sell on eBay eg a record may play EX all the way through except for 1 track with a skip or pop. I will add info like this to the description so you have complete confidence in what you're bidding on. I'm not a dealer with thousands of titles, so I spend time listening before I list records. I hate receiving poorly graded vinyl and I am wary of sellers who give airy fairy descriptions. I believe my gradings to be fair and I want you to be pleasantly surprised - but if you feel I have made an error then please get in touch before leaving feedback and we'll work out a solution.Packaging and shipping:I hate receiving vinyl that has been damaged due to poor packaging, so all records will be shipped the way I like to receive them - in either record mailers or in envelopes with cardboard stiffeners. I remove all vinyl from picture sleeves before shipping to minimise ring wear and all vinyl with picture sleeves will be supplied with poly inner and outer sleeves, I just don't include them in the pictures. If a 7" is not shown with a picture sleeve or original issue company sleeve, it will be sent with a white paper sleeve.Postage prices within Australia:For NSW $15 including signature on delivery.Other states please send me your postcode and I will reply with a shipping cost.Overseas bidders please contact for shipping price. All overseas parcels will be sent using registered post.I'm more than happy to combine shipping so check my other listings.Payment:Please wait until you receive a final invoice before paying.Ebay's postage calculator is not always correct and I will not be responsible for refunding excess postage if you haven't waited for the invoice.I prefer bank deposit from Australian customers but will accept PAYPAL; PAYPAL only from international bidders.Payment within 3 days of auction ending or immediate payment from Buy It Now. Happy to answer questions and thanks for looking.
