Description This is a very rare old recording, 78 rpm, 7", E Berliner's Gramophone,with many patent numbers, the latest being Oct 29 1895, No 3441Z, Home Sweet Home, Thomas Clark, Cornet Solo, signed in the wax by Thomas Clark. There is an approx 2" crack in from the edge, an old crack, fairly smooth, the record plays well, does click at the beginning but that lets up after a little while. Surface noise, but the cornet solo comes through well. Handled carefully this record will last another 100 years, and can be played, carefully. Few of these old Berliner records survive.
