Description For sale is the seldom seen "The Beatles - Collection of 12 EPs" volumes 1, 2, and 3 (the whole set). This is the complete series of Mexican EPs, pressed in Mexico in 1972, and compiled into boxes and released in Germany in the early '80s. I bought them new in 1984 and have taken excellent care of them - the records are unplayed (I may have listened to one or two when I got them) and should all be in excellent NM condition.Each 4-song EP has a full color cover within a plastic sleeve, and is unique to Mexico. It was said that John Lennon selected the songs for many of these (all the later records that came out in 1972, I assume), making the unique song groupings that much more special.Each volume contains 12 EPs housed in a cardboard box, and the records are in nice "like new" condition. The covers are printed on thin paper encased in plastic so they may have some wrinkles - they are "floppy" by design - but none are damaged or torn. Records in volumes 1 & 2 are on a tan EMI label; volume 3 are on Apple label. All are dated 1972 and made in Mexico.Volumes 1 and 2 are complete (12 EPs each) and match the descriptions on the back of the box. Volume 3 is missing discs 5 & 7, which are replaced by duplicates of two discs from Vol 2. HOWEVER, my research shows that most, if not all, of Volume 3 were like this (I reviewed at least 5 past eBay sales for Volume 3 and they all had these discs replaced or missing).BONUS: I am including an extra ERROR EP that I had collected separately - it's a pressing of "Collection of Oldies Vol. 2" that says "Vol 1" on the front cover, but otherwise has label number and song listing correct.I've never seen this complete set for sale - just the rare single box on eBay.
