Columbia SAX 2508 first U.K. pressing with blue and silver labels of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D, Op.61 with Nathan Milstein on violin with The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Erich Leinsdorf. I grade all my records as per the strict guidelines in The Record Collector Magazine and please feel free to check out my 100% +ve eBay feedback rating. Side 1 exhibits only a couple of superficial paper sleeve removal scratches and plays through with no issues of concern, just a little crackle in places and an occasional ''pop''. Side 2 exhibits three slightly heavier, but still light scratches but these produce some light ''ticking'' for the first two minutes of the side and again later in on the side. Side 2 also plays with light crackling in places and an occasional ''pop'' much as side 1. The record would undoubtedly benefit from a proper clean to reduce the static. I would grade side 1 as being excellent- and side 2 as being very good+. This is a superb recording and is still a fantastic listen despite the above faults. The record's sleeve has major damage to it's front right/back left corner with apiece of the sleeve missing from the front corner and some creasing and short tears to this corner to the rear, (please see above photographs). Comes with original poly-lined inner that is in very good condition. Please contact me for shipping rates to your country if interested thank you.
