MY GRADING SYSTEM is visual & audio : N = new/ M = like new/ NM = almost like new/ EX++/ EX+/ EX-/ VG+/ VG/ G (explanation below) VISUAL : N = New sealed, unopened M = Mint, opened but like new with no signs of use NM = Near mint, almost new with 2-3 hair lines possible EX+ = Excellent plus, very clean & shiny with little evidence of play or sleeve removal EX = Excellent, some light scuffs/hair lines, light marks of sleeve removal, no scratches (hair lines are not scratches !!) EX- = Excellent minus, lot of hair lines (hair lines are not scratches!!) VG+ = Very good plus, one up to couple of superficial scratches & scuffs (general light wear for Shellac) VG = Very good, pronounced wear, lack of gloss, numerous scratches, marks & scuffs G = Good, pronounced wear but possibly still playable AUDIO : M = like new, perfect sound NM = almost perfect sound, few light pops possible EX+ = very occasional light mild surface noise in background EX = light mild surface/static noise in background through VG+ = light crackles through VG = medium surface noise/crackles, but no skips, no jumps G = high crackles but not overpowered music, no skips, no jumps.
