All I ask from the buyer is that he/she deal with me in a rational manner, and I promise to resolve the problem. Secondly, since some people are either too stupid or too lazy to ask questions before bidding, and in the spirit of transparency, I should point out that I am a smoker. This is an issue for some people. If you are one of those people, you might want to reconsider before bidding on my auctions.My grading scale: NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, Fair, Poor. So adjust your scale accordingly.Some people may not know this, but there are actually 2 different recordings of this album. The US version was not supposed to be released. When the band recorded the album, the Steamhammer execs told them it sucked, and had them go back into the studio to re-record the entire album. Somehow, the original tapes made their way to Metal Blade Records, here in the US, and the MB label inadvertently released the first recording. Steamhammer released the second recording, and as a result, there are two totally different recordings of the album. Of note, the Intro is totally different on each album. Personally, I like the US intro better. Also of note, the track, "After The Deluge" is listed on the jacket of both versions, but only appears on the import version. Please very carefully read the descriptions for both LPs below.Sodom-Obsessed By Cruelty LP on Metal Blade/Restless Records (MBR 1073/7 72160-1).Original 1986 US pressing. There is supposed to be a lyric insert, but it is missing from this copy. Vinyl is VG with some ticks/snaps, some static, overall mild surface noise, some scuffs/light scratches, and light play wear. Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl.Jacket is borderline VG/VG- with some strong creases in the upper right corner, some smaller creases along the spines, some smaller creases in the lower left corner, bumped corners/corner wear, light ring wear, some staining on the front, mild to moderate edge wear along the spines and opening, some peeling/scuffing on the back, a long "gash" along the bottom (on the back), and mild to moderate shelf wear (scuffing/cloudiness). +Sodom-Obsessed By Cruelty LP on Steamhammer Records (SH 0040).Original 1986 Germany import pressing. This version comes with a custom inner sleeve.Vinyl is VG+ with some ticks/light snaps, overall mild surface noise, and some scuffs. Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl.Jacket is borderline EX/EX- with some small creases along the spines, bumped corners/light corner wear, light edge wear along the spines, a couple of random small creases, light edge wear along the opening, and light shelf wear (cloudiness).Custom inner sleeve is EX with some creases from handling, and light ring impression.
