Up for your bidding pleasure today we have an excellent pair of Sunset Rubdown items, including a very rare 7" picture disc with two Sunset Rubdown songs that are exclusive to this release only and cannot be found anywhere else. First off, we have a Sunset Rubdown t-shirt, obtained from the band on tour during the Dragonslayer touring cycle in 2009. Shirt is purple and features a water scene with two boats and the moon with Sunset Rubdown written below that. Shirt has been worn, but is in excellent condition with no holes or stains. Shirt is an adult large, measuring 18 3/4" from pit to pit, and 25" from collar to the bottom of the shirt. Material is a 50/50 American Apparel t-shirt (50% combed cotton, 50% polyester). Secondly, this auction includes a rare Sunset Rubdown picture disc 7", titled Introducing Moonface. This 7" was part of the David Horvitz picture disc collaboration series put out by Aagoo Records (AGO025) in April 2009, just before Sunset Rubdown's Dragonslayer album came out. According to an information card that came with the 7", both songs were written and recorded by Spencer Krug in his house, and mixed by Arlen Thompson and Spencer Krug at Breakglass Studios. Each 7" picture disc was limited to 500 copies. This 7" is long sold out, and can be tough to find. One side of the picture disc features a picture of the band laying on the floor, and the other side shows a cloudy sky scene. Record itself has never been played, and is in near mint condition. The clear holder that the record comes in shows some bends, but the record itself looks great. Pictures below are of the t-shirt and record you will be receiving.
