Description In this auction: “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” LP by The Beatles This is Vee Jay Records VJLP 1062. It was released in 1964. This is a MONO (Monaural) Pressing. This is Version 2 of this LP title with column back cover and includes the cuts “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me” that replaced “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” which were on Version 1 of this LP. The LABELS are BLACK with PERIMETER COLOR BAND and VEE JAY BRACKETS LOGO. BOTH COVER and VINYL of the LP in this auction ARE ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC! We know this because: 1) The cover has George’s shadow and spine printing. 2) The labels have "THE BEATLES" printed above the spindle hole. 3) The vinyl has "AudioMatrix" partially and lightly stamped in the trail-off of both sides. So you can bid with confidence that you are receiving the real deal and NOT a counterfeit. The COVER is in NICE VG to VG+ CONDITION. The front cover slick has very light wear as you can see in the images. The white rear slick has some aging and a name is written at the top. There is a light to moderate wear on the top and bottom seams and on the corners. There are NO seam spits, NO ring wear and NO tears. The spine and seams are strong. The VINYL is in NICE VG CONDITION. There are light surface hairlines/scuffs (none “feel-able”), and the vinyl is quite glossy. A name is written lightly in ballboint in the perimeter color-band on both sides. The Side 2 label has a little more wear than the Side 1 label. Overall, a NICE VG-ish copy of this Vee Jay “Introducing… THE BEATLES” LP for your vinyl collection!
