Description Welcome, you are bidding on... The BEATLES "The Beatles Second Album" STEREO ST-2080, Canadian Repress - Very Good Plus (VG+) Condition. They say a picture is worth one thousand words...but some pictures don't tell the whole story, so please read my item description & condition below as well as my terms of sale. ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:The BEATLES second LP release in the USA on Capitol Records entitled "The Beatles Second Album." This copy is a Canadian reissue assumed, by me, to be a 1980 release. I will describe key components of the item so that you, the buyer, can determine its age, condition and value for yourself. The item condition and the identifiable characteristics are as follows: 1) The vinyl disc itself, ST-2080, as well as the record labels are nearly perfect. The disc looks un-played, it does however have a few fingerprints but no identifiable scuff marks, scratches or other noticeable signs of wear. The labels show only a minimal number of spindle marks, no signs of wear but a previous owner ink-stamped his name, over the word Capitol, on side 1. Each of the four corners are relatively square however there is a slight fuzzing noticeable at the two corners opposite the open end. The front cover colors are vibrant, however, There is noticeable ring wear to the margins along the top and bottom edges that is dark in color. Additionally, as can be seen in the photos, the previous owner ink-stamped his name below Paul's name. The rear cover is a dull white which has began to yellow slightly. There is a distinct darkening along the three edges adjacent to the opening which appear to have rubbed off from another dark colored album. There are no seam splits and no markings of any kind other than those mentioned earlier...see photos.Has Capitol "C" and EMI box logos on bottom back coverHas "Printed in Canada" on bottom back coverSpine: [MG logo] Litho in Canada Super Jac3) The inner sleeve, assumed to be the original, is a generic white sleeve. PACKAGING:1) Opened record albums; The vinyl record disc itself is removed from the album cover/jacket to prevent damaging the cover during shipment. If the item includes a specialized or custom inner sleeve, the vinyl record disc is removed from the original inner sleeve and placed in a generic inner sleeve. The album cover, the vinyl record disc and any/all inserts will be placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.2) Unopened (sealed) record albums; Sealed items will remain unopened and are placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.
