A 'Rare First Day Issue' BEATLES WHITE ALBUM - Apple Records with Capitol Logo SWBO-101 - Contains All 7 Song Title Errors w/Rare Black Print HYPE STICKER APP 101.S1B !!! <<< PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 7 DAY AUCTION THAT ENDS THIS MONDAY NIGHT JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT EST >>>Offered is The Beatles first USA issue (November 25, 1968) White Album on Apple Records SWBO-101. This is from the Scranton, PA factory. Each first day issued Beatles White Album came with a printed serial number. Scranton started their numbering at 1,380,000. This album is number 1,415,256 meaning it was the 35,256th copy produced at the Scranton, PA Factory. The album jacket is a Queens Litho cover and is in very nice condition, Excellent, with no seam splits on either bottom seam while the top seams both have just the beginnings of maybe a 1" seam split; the original owner wrote his name on the inside top left corner. The original 4 Beatles color photographs and the original fold open poster are both included and are in Excellent condition! Both albums are in VG+ or Excellent condition! The albums labels are in Near Mint condition. These albums feature all 7 song title errors which were found and corrected on subsequent copies! Side1 has OBLADI OBLADA instead of OB-LA-DI OB-LA-DA, BUNGALOW BILL instead of THE CONTINUING STORY OF BUNGALOW BILL, Side 2 has ROCKY RACOON instead of ROCKY RACCOON, WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD (without the question mark at the end), and Side 4 has REVOLUTION NO. 1 instead of REVOLUTION 1, REVOLUTION NO. 9 instead of REVOLUTION 9, and GOODNIGHT instead of GOOD NIGHT. Six of these errors were quickly corrected the same month so finding copies of both albums which contain all 7 errors are quite rare! For some unknown reason, Capitol Records never corrected ROCKY RACOON until the 1980s! The original Hype Sticker (in VG condition) is also included on a piece of the original shrink wrap: APP 101.S1B which is in black print, not blue print as normally found. The sticker has a crease and a small repaired tear on the left side near Rocky Raccoon. In the deadwax the following is etched: SIDE 1: SWBO-1-101-J46 #3 IAM inside a triangle (this is the Scranton PA Factory symbol) SIDE 2: SWBO-2-101-J45 #2 IAM inside a triangle (this is the Scranton PA Factory symbol) SIDE 3: SWBO-3-101-J48 #2 IAM inside a triangle (this is the Scranton PA Factory symbol) SIDE 4: SWBO-4-101-J44 #3 IAM inside a triangle (this is the Scranton PA Factory symbol) Overall this is a great original BEATLES WHITE ALBUM set mfg by the Scranton PA Factory in November 1968. It is complete with all inserts including the original plain white paper sleeves(not shown) as the albums are kept in upgraded plastic-lined paper sleeves for maximum protection!! Good Luck! <<< PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 7 DAY AUCTION THAT ENDS THIS MONDAY NIGHT JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT EST >>> Thank you for your interest!!! GOOD LUCK!!! AS ALWAYS, YOUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED!!!
