On the dark green Apple Records label (PCS 7070), both of which include the 'Sold in UK...' text. Matrices: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1 Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/P Vinyl weight: 141g Housed in the early-type front laminated, tri-flipback stereo cover, without a printer's credit on the lower rear flipback. Complete with original die-cut, matt black inner-sleeve. CONDITION DISC Labels: MINT - A clean & unworn pair bearing just a small handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only. Visual: EXCELLENT + Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any scuffs or scratches in strong daylight, showing only some harmless marks from the unforgiving matt inner-sleeve visible directly beneath halogen light. Audio: MINT - Played just a few times with care on quality equipment, the sound throughout is detailed & unworn. Aside from a touch of vinyl background on/near the run-ins, there is little to fault - even on George Martin's delicate but wonderful orchestral suite. Cover: MINT - This archive-quality example looks like it left the shops last week, let alone 51 years ago. These early covers do have a slightly off-white finish, later covers used thinner card which stayed pure white. The front panel retains a sparkling unscratched laminate bearing just two tiny, almost unnoticeable 'thumbnail' wrinkles. The spine is totally unbent. All corners and both opening edges are super-sharp and unworn. The rear panel is clean & white where it should be with no writing, missing paper or other issues. All flipbacks, both seams and the fully worded spine are in perfect condition. Inner-sleeve: MINT - Clean & flat with no tears or seam splits, this is as good as these delicate components come. This LP will be packed in professional packaging to make sure it reaches you in the same condition it leaves us.
