Description Up for auction is a set of 45 RPM records from The Buoys, known for their early 70's hits "Timothy" & "Give Up Your Guns".One is titled "Don't Cry Blue" & B-side, "Borderline"... the other appears to be a Buoys demo for Polydor records... that's what's handwritten on the label... you can see it in the photo.I believe I acquired these when I was playing in a local band with The Buoys' drummer, Chris Hanlon back in the early 2000's. Chris had given these to me & I never had the chance to listen to them.Since I've never heard them, I can't testify to their playability... they look fine, except I just spotted two cracks in the 'unknown demo'... it looks like it may still play ok, not sure. I'd like to think that because of its rarity, that it may be valuable to a collector. Any questions, please ask... I'll do my best to provide answers!
