Description The Cure Galore The Singles 1987-1997 US 2xVinyl LP Elektra/Fiction 62117-1 Click On Images To Enlarge Description Up for sale is a Vinyl version of "Galore: The Singles 1987-1997" by The Cure. 1997 US pressing on Elektra/Fiction Records (62117-1). Number of records: 2 Record Condition: VG+. Record One does have a fair amount of light surface marks, but no skips or steady clicks. An occasional pop may be heard, otherwise plays fine. Record Two has less surface markings and plays fine. Sleeve Condition: Slight ring wear and general storage wear on both sides of cover. A fair amount of creases along edges and spine of cover. Corners slightly bent and worn. 1/4" staining on opening edges of both sides of cover, about 2 1/2" down from top right corner of cover. Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, heres ours! We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition! Sealed: Only used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but, since theyre sealed, I cant tell the condition for sure! It is good practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint. Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see. VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK. VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise. Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.
