Description Here's an amazingly rare, 1st pressing edition of SYNCHRONICITY by THE POLICE on audiophile purple vinyl in Excellent/NM- condition! This is a true first pressing with Robert Ludwig "Masterdisk" stamped on the dead wax and the purple vinyl visible when held up to a bright light. Awesome!!! This copy also features one of the 36 (!) different covers The Police issued this release in. I've honestly not seen many like this one, but not sure if that has a thing to do with rarity or not. Just pointing it out. The LP record is in Excellent condition! Looks and sounds great, played but with the utmost care. The inner sleeve is there, nice but has begun to split on the sides somewhat. The cover sleeve is bright, solid and also in excellent condition! Overall one of the best opened copies you are likely to find - and a rare first pressing at that! My record grading: Mint = Brand new, never opened nor played. Near Mint = Record has been opened and possibly played, though with the utmost care. Looks and sounds almost new. Excellent = Record has been played but with care. May have a minor surface scratch or two but absolutely nothing that will affect playback in any way. Very Good = Record has obviously been played, but again, with care. There may be a few more noticeable surface scratches, minor wear and/or fingerprints, though nothing that should affect playback in a drastic way. Good = Record has been played and often. Now we start to find deeper scratches (some which may pop) and/or some noticeable surface noise. Your average garage sale LP - listenable, but probably not collector grade. Poor = Record has some major flaws that will likely cause issues with playback. I usually only offer LP's in this grade is they are extremely rare or one of a kind.
